The inaugural Latin American Festival in Avalon drew crowds from all around Sydney, especially the Northern Beaches and what a delightful celebration of Cultures it was. Well over a 1000 people thronged to the Avalon Recreation centre to experience a Sunday of fun, dance and good food. Let’s hope we can do this again next year.
Congratulations to all those that helped organise this event. Many hours were spent by Juan, Marta Elva, Paula and Victor and others before hand, and then by many more on the day including Richard and Daphne, Mark and Mary, Jo and Stan, Robyn, Virginia, Lucy, the Narrabeen Baptist coffee team, and scores of others that helped.
